While Natalia has been with Insight for eight years, her role has evolved over the years. Currently she processes sales and manages inventory and printing. Natalia has a degree in English–Spanish translation. What Natalia enjoys most at Insight is the opportunity to collaborate with the whole team and contribute to meaningful projects. Outside of work, Natalia likes walking and gardening, travelling and discovering new places, and valuing the time spent with family and friends.
Robert has worked at Insight Publications for over 20 years, publishing and writing many titles. He holds university degrees in Science and Arts and is married with three children. At Insight, Robert loves that he can spend each and every day making educational resources as useful and as excellent as they can possibly be.
Ella has worked at Insight for one year, while also studying a Master of Creative Writing, Publishing and Editing at Melbourne University. In her undergraduate degree, Ella won a national journalism award for her investigative capstone project. Ella loves writing for the grassroots publication, Ramona Magazine, going to gigs and concerts, and taking too many photos of her labrador Max.
Mizz De Zoysa-Lewis has been with Insight for 21 years. Mizz left a very short stint in the legal profession to pursue her love of educational publishing and hasn’t turned back. She’s passionate about creating a work environment that values respect, empathy and excellence. Mizz goes home to her two fiercely independent teenagers, a very supportive husband, and three furry babies! She loves a bit of competition on the tennis court and enjoys catching up with her family and friends
Charlotte has been with Insight for two years. She completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in History, and won the John Alexander Salmond Award for her thesis, before completing a Masters of Writing and Publishing. Outside of work she’s likely planning her next trip, curled up with a cup of tea and book, or hunting for the best pastries nearby. At Insight, she loves developing resources to help students learn and to help out wherever its needed.
Kate recently joined the Insight team but has worked in educational publishing for more than 20 years. She’s accredited with the Institute of Professional Editors and has a BA in English and Film Studies. Kate has two lively children, one elderly cat and a patient husband. When she’s not reading or listening to podcasts, you’ll find her at the gym.
Melanie has been with Insight for sixteen years. She has authored many Insight titles, received numerous writing awards and was project editor of the EPA’s 2014’s prize-winning Secondary Reference Resource. She enjoys conceptualising titles and working with curricula, and she has a particular interest in creating EAL resources. Beyond work, she enjoys reading, travel, trivia, running, and spending time with her family and many pets.
Sage has worked at Insight full-time for five years, although has been with the company in various roles since 2016. He has produced a wide variety of educational resources for Insight. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, watching films and spending time with his cats.
Saverina’s role consists of meeting school staff, discussing their resource needs and showing them all Insight has to offer, and she has been a part of the team for 13 years. She loves that no day is the same and that she gets to meet so many new people. Alongside her degree in Biological Sciences, Sav is passionate about education and books. Sav loves spending time with family and friends and enjoying a high tea.
Tess has worked at Insight for two years. She is currently completing her Master of Creative Writing, Editing and Publishing at the University of Melbourne, having already completed a BA (Hons) at ANU. Tess also writes and edits many side projects, and sings lead in a local band.
Naomi also recently joined Insight but worked in the publishing industry for over 20 years. Naomi has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Art History. She also has a post-graduate Diploma of Editing and Publishing from RMIT. Naomi has two tween girls and two fur babies; she loves spending time at the beach with her family.
Olivia started at Insight in early 2024 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Literary Studies and Linguistics. She loves getting to work with and learn from her colleagues at Insight. In her spare time, she enjoys running and roller-skating.
Alison Tealby, BA, MA (Creative Writing, Publishing and Editing), GradCert (Science Communication) has written for, edited, proofread and project-managed various Insight titles, including trial exams, sample essays, text guides, workbooks and textbooks. She enjoys walking her dogs, Ashton and Bingo.
Isuru has been with the Insight team for over eight years. His background is in Accounting and Finance and has worked in the publishing industry for 14 years. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling and music, and loves being part of such a supportive and dynamic team!
